1. BEE ADVENTURES + HIVE EXPERIENCE

Learn firsthand about the incredible role bees play in our ecosystem by experienced Bee Keeper Warren Hinton. Discover how honey is made, and engage in a fun and educational session with our very own beehive display. Challenge yourselves to “Spot the Queen” and understand the vital role she plays within her buzzing community.

2. FINGER LIME ORCHARD TOUR

 

Stroll through our lush Finger Lime Orchard with Roxanne and Luke Hinton where you’ll learn about this unique and vibrant native fruit. See how they’re grown and harvested, and learn about their culinary uses.

 

3. Morning tea delight

 

Conclude your adventure with a refreshing morning tea, featuring honey-infused treats and samples of our delicious finger limes.

BUSH TUCKER TOURS

 

These tours provide an immersive experience into the world of native Australian plants and their significance. Elders shares valuable knowledge about the traditional uses of these plants in Indigenous culture, highlighting both their medicinal and culinary applications.

Participants will have the opportunity to learn about the various native plants growing on the farm, including the unique finger lime, often referred to as “citrus caviar” for its bead-like pulp. The tour offers insights into how these plants have been used by Indigenous people for generations, showcasing their health benefits, traditional remedies, and unique flavors that are integral to bush tucker cuisine.

By participating in the tour, visitors not only gain an understanding of the rich cultural heritage and practices of Indigenous Australians but also develop an appreciation for sustainable and natural ways of living. It’s an educational and enriching experience for anyone interested in Australia’s native flora and its cultural significance.
